An Employee in good standing with the Union and who is employed on or after the Effective Date will become a Member of the Plan on the earlier of:

• The date the first Contribution is made to the Plan on their behalf;
• January 1st following the completion of a minimum of 700 hours worked in each of the two (2) preceding years or has earned thirty-five (35) percent of the Year's Maximum Pensionable Earnings in each of the two (2) consecutive calendar years
